Gridiron Gang (2006)

Teens in a California correctional facility, with nothing going for them, get introduced to football. After a rocky start, their coach and correctional officer keeps the inmates/players in line and gives them something to look forward to besides life on the streets as drug dealers and gang bangers.

This is a moving and entertaining movie. Starring 'The Rock' I expected it would be much like the Walking Tall remake with lots of bad acting and tough guy, macho scenes. It wasn't anything of the sort. It shows a real human side to troubled youths coupled with human kindness not often found in movies today.

This movie is certainly worthy your time and movie dollars.
